@Arkana Wasn't their extinction attributed to breeding with Homo Sapiens? So they didn't "disappear" in some mysterious way, they were mixed together with Homos. 🤷♂️

@Alex1488 You don't get out-bred that fast. There is some neanderthal admixture in caucasian and asian populations due to male neanderthals breeding with homo sapien women.
Presumably then these half breeds would do the exact same thing, taking homo sapien women. That continued until they were more homo sapien than neanderthal and were able to integrate into homo sapien societies.
